The Importance Of Email

The Importance Of Email

Have you ever thought that email is so old news in the midst of all the new social media comms out there? Every single social media platform we’ve come across has one form of chat or the other with great emoji’s and gifs! People just tend to use the one which suits their perceived needs or more so, the one that’s more comfortable/convenient for them.

So many ministries have made the mistake of assuming that email is either dead or dying! I mean consider your email activity; do you, your church or your ministry have an email list? If the answer is yes then that’s great but are you actively growing that list? Only a few of those we’ve spoken to can say yes.

Five Reasons Your Ministry Needs An Online Presence

Five Reasons Your Ministry Needs An Online Presence

Getting online today is easy peasy. It takes less than 5 minutes to create a social media account. No longer do you have to wait for a web designer to get a presence online, in fact talking about creating a website, it’s easy enough for you to create one with the WYSIWYG sites like Weebly and Wix. Better still many of these tools are free and will only cost you your time.

This is reflective of the day and age in which we live in. Technology is king (with a small k) and the next generation (well more than that) are active and vibrant there.

A Time Machine

A Time Machine

Our time on earth is limited since this is not eternity and we are not mortals. However we all know that time is the most valuable resource that we have in life and in ministry, but not only is it one of the most abused resources, it is the one thing that many (admit it or not) struggle the most with. No wonder there are so many resources and professionals for time management.

Nowadays, you’ll hear things like ‘please be on time, Jesus time’!!! Meaning not African, European or even American time – in fact not human time because that’s likely to be flawed as well (hahahahahaha – just kidding).
